The lucky visitors, who attended the Francois Ferreira Strawberry Food Theatre at the recent Strawberry Festival, will agree that it was most inspiring to watch Chef Francois prepare a variety of savoury dishes with strawberries. Even though there was a lot of scepticism regarding the taste of the sweet strawberries in a savoury dish, doubt quickly turned into delight when the dishes were tasted and the guests were astonished at how well the flavours matched. The Strawberry Risotto was definitely the most popular dish of the day, with other favourites being the Strawberry Salsa served with Nachos and the Strawberry and Feta Tartlet with Indian Sirracha.
